A Morning of Photography in Open Space with Gerry Morrell:

A stroll along Coal Creek to learn outdoor photography tips from an expert

8:30 - 10:30 am, Saturday, July 14 OR 8:30 - 10:30 am, Thursday, July 19

Do you enjoy the outdoors and photography? Would you like to improve your ability to capture beautiful images of wildlife, plants, landscapes and the rest of the great outdoors? Join acclaimed Lafayette photographer, Gerry Morrell to learn techniques on how to make your nature and wildlife photographs "works of art" as opposed to boring "snap shots". Gerry is a third generation Coloradoan who has been photographing wildlife and nature for four decades. His passion is being out in nature and photographing the "back roads", of the American West. For more about Gerry:

Martin Ogle (Lafayette Open Space’s Education and Outreach Coordinator) will also provide participants with a “Naturalist’s-eye-view” of the setting being photographed.

Co-sponsored by Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission and Lafayette Open Space. Free but reservation is required. Email Martin Ogle at
