Please read the full Meeting Room Policies before making a reservation request. Your request signifies that you've read and agree to the policies in full.

  • Reservations must factor in setup and takedown time; setup is not possible before the Library is open.

Room Rates

 
The Library has two event spaces available for educational, cultural, intellectual, or charitable activities. The large downstairs meeting room may also be used for community events and private social functions.

Can meeting rooms be used for free?


Fees are only waived for: 
  • Library-sponsored events and meetings.
  • Lafayette city government events and meetings.
  • Events approved by the Library Director that are related to the Library’s mission.
The Library also has small study rooms free of charge. See our Study Room page for details.

1. Conference Room

 

$20/hour or $100/day  

 
Location: Lower Level
Capacity: 36

Amenities: conference tables (2-48"x60"), 15 conference chairs, 21 additional stacking chairs, large-screen monitor with HDMI/VGA inputs, conference phone, whiteboard, sink.
Note: Customers planning to use a computer or device with the Library projector or monitor are responsible ensuring the connection and supplying VGA or HDMI adapters appropriate to your device type. Cables are provided by the Library.
 

2. Meeting Room

 

$50/hour or $200/day

  
Location: Lower Level
Capacity: 160 

Amenities: large screen, projector, sound system, hand-held & lav mics, new 18 x 62” tables, 150 chairs, podium, sink, 12-cup coffeemaker, whiteboards.
Note: Customers planning to use a computer or device with the Library projector or monitor are responsible ensuring the connection and supplying VGA or HDMI adapters appropriate to your device type. Cables are provided by the Library.
